Designer who ended up
in the engine bay.

I was hired at Keller Creative in 2024 as a designer and developer. I was the only developer on staff. I built WordPress marketing sites and managed hosting through Gridpane. Three AS degrees: design, web development, marketing.

The role started shifting as we adopted more AI tooling. I wrote a script that syncs Toggl time tracking to Asana, built Slack alerts for datacenter maintenance windows, and put together a product management system that connects a client’s catalog to their WordPress site. Infrastructure crept in, and I kept saying yes to it.

I’m Head of Platform and MarTech now. Most of my time goes into the internal tools the rest of the agency runs on. I replatformed our ops hub, built a pricing and invoicing app that Claude can read and write through directly, and I’m working on consolidating a growing pile of one-off internal repos into a single platform instead of standing up a new one every time someone needs a tool.

AI writes most of my implementation code at this point. What I actually spend my time on is the architecture: knowing what to ask for and whether the result is right. I’m working toward the CKA, and the homelab is where I practice things the agency doesn’t need yet.

Outside of work, I split my time between whitewater kayaking, HPDE track days, and SCCA time trials.
